Benefit lunch for Wayne Singleton scheduled Sunday at Blue Springs

Blue Springs Christian Church will host a benefit lunch Sunday for Wayne Singleton, who is being treated for leukemia at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
Singleton is married to Angie Hardin, daughter of Grant Hardin.
Singleton has been at Vanderbilt for several weeks receiving treatment, among which was a bone marrow transplant. His treatments are scheduled to continue through the first week of May.
The spaghetti-spaghetti casserole lunch is by donation only. Take-out lunches will also be available. Also, the church is accepting donations to help with Singleton’s health expenses. All checks should be made to the church and designated for Wayne Singleton.
The lunch will be served following the morning service.
Blue Springs Christian is located 107 Don Rominger Road in Blue Springs.
