The Milligan University Orchestra, under the direction of Milligan’s area chair of music, Dr. Kellie Brown, will present the concert “Earth, Air, Water, Fire” on Saturday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium in Seeger Chapel.

In honor of Earth Day, the concert celebrates the beauty and wonder of God’s creation through a musical exploration of the four elements: earth, air, water and fire.

“Composers throughout the world and throughout history have been inspired by the natural world,” said Brown. “This concert’s broad range of repertoire will showcase the many styles and genres that composers have used to represent the tangible and intangible.”

The concert is free and open to the public.
