Food City presents check to Samaritan’s Purse for Hurricane Helene Flood Relief at Mountain Aid Concert

Food City served as a presenting partner for the November Mountain Aid benefit concert at Freedom Hall Civic Center Arena, A Night of Music and Hope for Appalachia, to benefit Samaritan’s Purse in support of Hurricane Helene flood relief efforts in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. They presented a check to Samaritan’s Purse on Friday. Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian relief organization working to rebuild homes and restore hope for families affected in Appalachia.
At the check presentation ceremony were Jared Decker of Samaritan’s Purse, Mark Stone, Freedom Hall general manager, Steve Willis, assistant city manager for the City of Johnson City, Greg Sparks, and Lisa Johnson of Food City.
