FEMA to assist with applications at satellite sites during week of Oct. 15-19

FEMA will be throughout Carter County the week of Oct. 15 through Oct. 19 to assist those impacted by flooding from Hurricane Helene.
The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, Oct. 15
Roan Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, located at 8478 Highway 19-E in Roan Mountain. Times will be 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 16
Hampton Volunteer Fire Department, located at 401 4th Street in Hampton. Times will be 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 17, and Friday, Oct. 18
Elk Mills Volunteer Fire Department (at the FEMA mobile unit located at the former fire department), 107 Poga Road, Butler.
Times will be from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The plan also includes FEMA being at Camp Faith in Little Milligan on Saturday, with that location pending confirmation.
Camp Faith is located at 5340 Highway 321, Butler. Times have yet to be determined and will be released upon confirmation.
