The October meeting of the Watauga Association of Genealogists (WAGS) will feature authors Bill Gann and Gary Toms from Independence, Mo. The group will meet at the Johnson City Public Library, Tuesday, Oct 1, at 6:30 p.m.
Gann and Toms will do a presentation on “Writing a Family History.” They will share some of their experiences in researching and writing their third book, a history of the Adam C. and Rosina (Broyles) Gann family from Washington County. The presentation will contain a bit of history of the families involved, and some of the methods and sources used in the process. It promises to be interesting, entertaining, and informative.
The public is invited to attend all WAGS meetings. Also, the meeting will be on Zoom. The Zoom link can be found on the first page of the WAGS website at https://wagsnetn.org// .
