KINGSPORT – Mary Kathleen “Khaki” Marquette, MD, FACOG, joins Holston Medical Group’s (HMG) Seasons for Women, a team of highly qualified providers who support the community in navigating its obstetrician and gynecological care. She will serve patients at:

• Seasons for Women at Abingdon, 631 Campus Dr., Abingdon, Va.
• Seasons for Women at Bristol, 320 Bristol West Blvd., Suite 1B, Bristol, Tenn.
• Seasons for Women at Kingsport, 105 W. Stone Dr., Ste. 5D, Kingsport, Tenn.

Born and raised in Arkansas, Dr. Marquette has always had a passion for medicine. “I chose a career in the obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) medical field to walk alongside patients during the most exciting, joyful, and vulnerable times of their lives,” she shared.

Dr. Marquette believes in providing evidence-based, personalized care through collaboration with patients to build trusting relationships and contribute to the high-quality, cost-effective care HMG provides..

“Women’s health is a very personal matter, and I believe in providing a safe and comfortable environment for my patients,” Dr. Marquette added. “I strive to stay updated with the latest research and advancements in OB/GYN to provide the best possible care and education on how to be a smart healthcare consumer.”

Dr. Marquette provides comprehensive women’s services throughout all stages of a woman’s life. Her OB/GYN services include:

• Gynecologic care
• Birth control management
• Fibroid tumor detection and treatment
• Infertility diagnosis and treatment
• Menstrual disorders
• Menopause treatment options
• Pelvic pain diagnosis and treatment
• Urinary incontinence evaluation and treatment
• Pregnancy counseling, care for routine pregnancies, and access to highly skilled certified nurse midwives

“After spending time with the well-rounded Seasons team during my residency and seeing first-hand their compassionate, patient-centered approach to whole-person healthcare, I knew this was the team I wanted to be on,” said Dr. Marquette.

Dr. Marquette received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Little Rock, Ark. She completed her residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tenn. 

In her free time, Dr. Marquette enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and four large dogs.
