Hazardous Weather Outlook issued for Southwest NC, East TN, and Southwest VA

Morristown — The National Weather Service based in Morristown has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of southwest North Carolina, east Tennessee, and southwest Virginia.

DAY ONE: Today and Tonight

A few thunderstorms may develop in southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee this afternoon. The strongest storms could bring gusty winds and small hail.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: Tuesday through Sunday

The probability of widespread hazardous weather remains low during this period.
