The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County is gearing up to host its annual Youth of the Year Competition on February 19 at 5:30 p.m.
For more than 70 years, the Youth of the Year program has been a beacon of recognition and celebration for inspiring teens and their extraordinary journeys. Each year, the program selects one outstanding club member to be the National Youth of the Year, serving as an ambassador for Boys & Girls Club Youth and a voice for young people across the nation.
These exceptional individuals embody the core mission of Boys & Girls Clubs, showcasing the transformative impact that these clubs have on the lives of children. Past recipients of the National Youth of the Year award have achieved success in diverse fields, ranging from entertainment and politics to business and sports.
