Johnson City Police arrest Anderson for reckless endangerment

JOHNSON CITY – On January 6, officers from the Johnson City Police Department apprehended Thomas Anderson, 18, a resident of Johnson City. Anderson faces charges of reckless endangerment following an investigation by law enforcement.
Reports indicate that Anderson discharged multiple rounds from a handgun toward a gathering of individuals in Downtown Square at approximately 3 a.m. on January 6. Fortunately, no injuries were reported despite the discharge of firearms in the area.
Following his arrest, Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center to await further legal proceedings. The Johnson City Police Department’s investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
