Finding a four-leaf clover is considered good luck around the world.
Leaving a four-leaf clover behind at one Elizabethton retailer would be good luck for Carter County youngsters.
And you won’t have to spend hours searching the lawn to find these lucky leaves.
The 2014 4-H Paper Clover Campaign continues through Sunday, May 4, at Elizabethton Tractor Supply Co., where shoppers can support 4-H by buying Paper Clovers for $1 or more at the checkout or from 4-H members in the store.
All of the money raised will go to 4-H and will support 4-H activities in Carter County.
The Tractor Supply 4-H Paper Clover Campaign has yielded more than $3.3 million for 4-H in its four years across 48 states.
All proceeds raised directly benefit 4-H, with 70 percent of funds being returned to state and local 4-H programs. Carter County 4-H’ers have seen the benefits in 4-H camp scholarships, 4-H judging team trips, 4-H awards and many other 4-H activities.
