Anthony David Barnett, 57, Roan Mountain, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at his residence. He was born May 16, 1967, in Banner Elk, North Carolina. He was a carpenter. His hobby was motorcycles.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Hughes Barnett. He was a member of Cove Creek Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his two daughters, Harley Cates and Anna Shey Powell; his father, Claude Barnett; two brothers, John Barnett and Chris Barnett; and his mother-in-law, Martha Heaton.
It was his wish to be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Barnett family.
