Aramark volunteers will roll up their sleeves this Saturday, April 12, for Aramark Building Community (ABC) Day, the company’s global day of service, with a full day of volunteer activities planned at the Carter Compassion Center.

Led by project leader Teresa Young, the Elizabethton team will partner with the center to support repairs to the back wall of the building. The effort reflects Aramark’s mission to do great things for its people and the communities it serves.

In addition to the transformation project, Aramark volunteers host a Workforce Readiness Workshop at the center. The workshop will feature several interactive stations designed to help local residents build job-seeking skills. Participants will receive guidance on resume writing, completing job applications, interview techniques, and dressing for success.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and community members are invited to attend.

The Carter Compassion Center is located at 500 US-19., Elizabethton. For more information about the event or to participate, contact the Carter Compassion Center at 423-518-1507 or visit cartercompassion.org.
