NASHVILLE — Tennessee gas prices fell an average of four cents over the past week, bringing the state’s average to $2.75 per gallon. That price is two cents lower than a month ago and 20 cents cheaper than this time last year.

“Tennessee gas prices are continuing their pattern of fluctuating up and down within the same range of pricing,” said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman for AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Right now, the state gas price average is cheaper than last week, one month ago, and one year ago. This is a nice break for drivers ahead of an expected seasonal rise in gas prices over the next few months as spring refinery maintenance season usually peaks in late February and into March.”

National Gas Prices
