All Carter County Democratic Women – and men, too, are invited to the first meeting of the year of the Carter County Democratic Women on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 5:25 to eat and 6 p.m. for a business meeting and planning session.

The first item on the agenda will be the formal election of officers followed by the paying of dues which helps finance club projects. “We will study how to resist the fascist agenda of which we are already victims. We will work to keep truth and the American way present in our country to keep us free and prosperous in unity and our basic rights. We, Democrat women and auxiliary gentlemen members, seek to preserve The United States of America!,” said Janet Hyder, outgoing president.
