Cyclones secure spot on Region 1-4A team

The 2024 edition of the Elizabethton Cyclones once again performed at a high level, as Coach Shawn Witten’s team posted an overall record of 7-4 for the season.
Several players were instrumental in this year’s success and were recognized by coaches in Region 1-4A, earning spots on the All-Region team. Five players received special accolades for their outstanding performances this year.
Senior lineman Kyron Smalls was chosen as the Defensive Lineman of the Year, while Justius Wallin was named the Athlete of the Year for the region.
Senior kicker Caleb Campbell was selected as the Specialist of the Year for the Cyclones, and C.J. Mathes was recognized as the Top Newcomer for the region.
Additionally, Bryson Rowland earned a spot as an Academic All-Region honoree for the 2024 season.
