Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency earns High Performer status

The Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency, Inc. (EHDA) has achieved High Performer status with its FY2023 Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) score, receiving an overall score of 93 out of a possible 100. The results were announced on Dec. 5, 2024.
PHAS is the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) annual evaluation tool for assessing the performance of public housing agencies. The system uses four indicators to measure performance:
- Physical Condition (40 points maximum) – EHDA scored 36.
- Financial Condition (25 points maximum) – EHDA scored 25.
- Management Operations (25 points maximum) – EHDA scored 22.
- Capital Fund (10 points maximum) – EHDA scored 10.
The combined score of 93 reflects EHDA’s commitment to maintaining high standards in the management and operation of its public housing programs.
The High Performer designation is a prestigious recognition that highlights EHDA’s dedication to providing safe, well-maintained, and efficiently managed housing for the Elizabethton community.
