The City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department is spreading holiday cheer with its annual Character Christmas event, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7. The family-friendly festivities will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Covered Bridge Park and is sponsored by Carter County Bank.

This year’s event will feature beloved characters dressed in their holiday best, providing families with the opportunity to meet, interact with, and take photos with their favorites. Adding to the holiday magic, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to greet children and listen to their Christmas wishes.

Covered Bridge Park will transform into a festive wonderland, offering a perfect backdrop for photos and memories that families can cherish for years to come.

The event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the holiday magic.
