UNICOI – Seventeen-year-old Roan Mountain native and entrepreneur Andrae Davis, owner of Cakes by Andrae, is bringing his baking expertise to Unicoi for a special cupcake decorating class. The event, hosted by the Town of Unicoi and Mountain Harvest Kitchen, will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mountain Harvest Kitchen, located at 105 Unicoi Village Place.

Andrae, who has appeared on Daytime Tri-Cities to showcase his talents, recently shared with Amy Lynn the devastating impact Hurricane Helene had on his at-home commercial kitchen. Proceeds from this class will go toward helping him repair the damage and rebuild his baking business.

Participants will learn to decorate two types of cupcakes: a Hot Cocoa Cupcake and a White Chocolate Cupcake. Each attendee will take home six cupcakes of each flavor, combining fun and creativity with the opportunity to support a local entrepreneur.
