The Valley Forge Auction Thanksgiving Tournament is set to kick off the basketball season at Happy Valley High School from Wednesday, Nov. 27, through Saturday, Nov. 30. Featuring a “Carter County Challenge” theme, the girls’ varsity basketball event will showcase all four Carter County schools—Happy Valley, Hampton, Cloudland, and Unaka—alongside strong competitors Volunteer, Cedarview, Unicoi County, and Tennessee High.

“This is our second year after reviving the tournament, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Happy Valley girls’ assistant coach Rik Anderson. “Last year was fantastic, and this year’s lineup promises even more competitive matchups. It’s a unique opportunity for fans to catch all the Carter County teams in one place. None of it would be possible without the generous support of Valley Forge Auction, our title sponsor.”
