It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Michelle Nave Shelton, 48, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Elizabethton, Tenn. Wendy was born on October 27, 1976, and unexpectedly left us on November 12, 2024.

Wendy was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a vibrant soul with a contagious smile and a kind heart. She was a beloved member of the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her spirit live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved her.

Wendy is survived by the love of her life, Bryan Shelton; her mother and stepfather, Betty and Bill Dugger; mother-in-law, Francene Shelton; father-in-law, James Shelton (Carol); several aunts, uncles and cousins; three stepbrothers, Scotty, Bobby and Andy; and sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Matt Orto.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Nave; uncle and aunt, WJ and Christine Nave (Greg); and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

The receiving of friends and family will be at 6 p.m. Friday, November 22, with the service to follow with Pastor Doug Hinshaw officiating at Union Baptist Church, 1411 US-321, Hampton, Tenn.

Friends and loved ones of the family may visit at the home of her mother at 3020 Gap Creek Road, Hampton, Tenn.
