The Christmas Concert of the Elizabethton Choral Club will be presented Monday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Should there be inclement weather, the concert will be postponed until Monday, Dec. 16. This year’s repertoire will include John Rutter’s, “Rejoice and Be Merry” and “I Too Shall Walk to Bethlehem”, “The Wexford Carol”, “In the Bleak Midwinter”, Dan Forest’s “The First Noel”, and several more, including the ever popular singalong.

The group is led by Debbie Gouge, director, and Susan Heaton, accompanist. The First United Methodist handbell choir, Small But Mighty, will join in the finale. There will be instrumental duets presented by Susan Heaton and Scott Reynolds. This free concert is a musical gift to the community and the public is cordially invited.
