JOHNSON CITY – Alexandra Johnson, DO, has joined Ballad Health Medical Associates Orthopedic Surgery, treating patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

At Ballad Health Medical Associates Family Medicine, Dr. Collins offers a broad range of services and treatments, including adolescent scoliosis, clubfoot, developmental hip dysplasia, early onset scoliosis, growth friendly and non-fusion scoliosis treatment, limb deformity and length discrepancies, musculoskeletal infections, neuromuscular conditions and pediatric fractures.

“I treat others as I would want to be treated,” Dr. Johnson said. “My goal is to provide the same high level of care and compassion that I would offer if I were treating my own children. One of my most fulfilling moments as a surgeon was watching a child run for the first time after years of being unable to,” she recalls. “The joy and pride on his and his parents’ faces in that moment was unforgettable.”
