Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist Church, 1367 Broad St., will host a free Community Thanksgiving Meal Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for first responders and their families and any resident of Carter County.
Dine in or take-outs will be available.
The Rev. Tim Tapp is pastor.
Union Hill Free Will
The Edwards Family from North Carolina will present special singing Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
Union Hill Free Will is located at 125 Lane Hill Road. The Rev. Tyler Street is pastor.
The public is invited to attend.
Freedom Road Baptist
Freedom Road Baptist Church, located at 708 West C St., Elizabethton, will be giving out blankets, gloves, toboggans, and socks on Nov. 16 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
All in need are invited to come by the church.
First Christian
First Christian Church Elizabethton has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The church also has Bible study for adults, youth, and children on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend all services, including the special Wednesday night services in December.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 for an appointment.
The church is located at 513 Hattie Ave. Michael Klaus is pastor.
Grace Baptist
A Thanksgiving service and fellowship will be held November 24 at Grace Baptist Church with Sunday School at 9 a.m., worship service at 10:30 a.m., and a meal to follow.
The church will provide meats, rolls, and drinks. Those attending are requested to bring a side dish and dessert.
There will be no evening service.
The Rev. Travis Tyler is pastor.

CCCMF meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at West Side Christian Church in Elizabethton.
The guest speaker will be Todd Wolfe, minister at Central Community Christian Church.
All men in Carter County Christian Churches are invited.
Roan Street Free Will
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have special singing by Mountain Harmony on Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The pastor, Donnie Harris, invites the public to attend.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both an online and live worship service Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Choose Your Own Reality” based on Proverbs 18:15 and Hosea 4:6.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Martin Hall.
