Throughout the week, students dressed in different themes each day, adding excitement to the lead-up to the big game. On Friday evening, the homecoming parade began at 6 p.m., led by the 2024 Division II State Marching Band Champs, the Betsy Band, with the EHS varsity cheerleaders following.
Each candidate for Homecoming Queen ’24 rode in a convertible, waving to the crowd. The Elizabethton youth football league teams and their cheerleaders rode on floats, joined by the popular Chick-fil-A cows, which delighted young fans along the route.
