Melanie Ann Smith Cyrus, 63, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Melanie was born in Oakfort, Pa., to the late Marlin and Patricia Seaver Smith.

Melanie was a selfless lady who always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She was a very strong woman who carried so much love for everyone. She loved to laugh and to make people smile. A more loving and caring person never existed! She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Melanie had very strong faith in God and loved her Lord dearly.

Melanie was a proud organ donor, which was like her in that she was always thinking of others before herself. Even through her battle with cancer, she was able to give someone the gift of sight.
