Linda Marie Sanchon White, 76, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on September 23, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Born in Lafayette, La., she was the daughter of Adraius Joseph Sanchon and Ella Mae Bazar Sanchon. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Albert Sanchon, Jerry Sanchon, Trudy Wiltz, Judy Doucet, and Suzanne Sanchon.

A well-known cosmetologist and beautician in her community, Linda touched many lives with her talent and warm spirit. She enjoyed country line dancing, embracing the joy and connection it brought her with others.

Linda is survived by her three children, Troy David White, Christopher Guy White (wife LeeAnne), and Casey Renee White (husband Wil), along with her cherished grandchildren, Morgan and Lillie. She is also survived by her sister, Gilda Black, and several nieces and nephews in Tennessee, as well as her beloved family in Louisiana.

In accordance with her wishes, Linda will be cremated, and her family will take her back to Louisiana to be laid to rest in St. Landry Cemetery, where they will hold a private service.

Linda’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life for friends and family in Tennessee on October 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Coffee Company in downtown Elizabethton, Tenn. (address: 444 East Elk Avenue).
