Local wrestling promotion flooded, will host event for Happy Valley High

Beside The Ring Wrestling was flooded during Hurricane Helene. After some replacement and much cleanup Beside The Ring Wrestling will be bringing the action to Happy Valley High School in Elizabethton on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Beside The Ring Wrestling is offering free general admission tickets (row 3 and back) for all students and children with a paying adult. “This is a way for us to help give back to a region that has had a rough season,” said Scotty Campbell, President of Beside The Ring Wrestling. “Our wrestling ring and all of our equipment were flooded. We will be ready by show time.” Concessions will be available benefiting Happy Valley High School. The school has been serving as a resource site for flooding victims.
See 15 year WWE veteran fka WWE Superstar Heath Slater in action as he faces Beside The Ring Champion “The Golden Child” Evan Golden. There will be an appearance by Marcus Buff “The Stuff” Bagwell, formerly of WCW/WWE/nWo. A ladies match has Shawna Reed versus Sam Street, there will be tag team wrestling, and more.
Tickets are on sale now: Front row $25, second row $25, general admission (third row and back) $15.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and bell time is 7 p.m.
