Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will have ​its ​Thanksgiving meal on Saturday, Nov. ​2, at 4 p.m. This is the annual ​ham and turkey meal complete with all the traditional side​ dishes. For those of you who have attended this event in previous years, this meal is absolutely wonderful.

Music will be provided by Gary Taylor and Roan Street Ramblers from 5 to 6:30 p.m. As an added treat, a young family band, Roan Street Ramblers, have agreed to play again. Door prizes will be given away by Cathy Baker at 4:45 p.m. Those attending should plan to arrive early. Volunteers continue to work hard to make this a fun time to get together.
