Elizabethton City offices closed for Columbus Day; Adjusted garbage collection schedule announced

The City of Elizabethton offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 14, in observance of Columbus Day.
Garbage collection for the week of Oct. 14 through Oct. 18 will follow an adjusted schedule:
- Monday through Thursday collections will be delayed by one day.
- Thursday and Friday collections will both be completed on Friday.
