“I was fortunate to keep the ball in play for 18 holes at the District Tournament. It definitely wasn’t my best round, but I am happy with the win,” Wilson shared.

Ezra Tolley of Hampton also earned a spot in regionals by shooting a strong round of 76 and taking third overall. University High took overall team honors, while South Greene finished second.

For the girls, Happy Valley’s Cayden Anderson took third overall with a score of 93, which punches her ticket to regionals. The Lady Warriors team finished third overall, meaning Grace Hollifield will also participate in regionals. Chuckey-Doak took both team and individual honors on the girls’ side, with Layla Fox shooting a 77.
