First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an online and live worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.

Lori Mongilo will be the guest speaker. Her message is titled “Making Sense of Belief.”

Meditation is Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Martin Hall.

First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.

The pastor is the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt.

 

First Christian

First Christian Church, Elizabethton, has worship at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. Sept. 8, the church will begin a new church-wide study series titled “Big Ideas.” The Sunday School lessons will correlate with the sermon in this series.

There is also Bible study for adults, youth, and children on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 for an appointment.

First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave. The minister is Michael Klaus.

 

Poplar Grove Baptist

Poplar Grove Baptist Church will have homecoming September 15 at the 11 a.m. service. 

The Foundations will provide a musical program.

Hopson Chapel

Hopson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will have a homecoming service September 1.

The service will begin at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Charlie Trivette preaching. The Rhodes Family will present special singing.

The church is located at 601 Tiger Creek Road.

The public is invited.
