Warriors blank homestanding Highlanders

Happy Valley fullback Tyler Berry rushed for a game-high 107 yards on 14 carries as the Warriors shut out Cloudland 19-0 on Friday night at Orr Field. Sophomore quarterback Aiden Paul scored a pair of touchdowns, and Ron Paul Parker opened the game with a 76-yard kickoff return.
“It was complimentary football with special teams, defense, and a strong running game,” Warriors head coach Jason Jarrett said.
Paul rushed for 86 yards, and Happy Valley (1-0) as a team accrued 236 rushing yards. For Cloudland, sophomore tailback Grayson Cole had 55 yards rushing, and the Highlanders had four turnovers, including a pair of turnovers on downs, an interception, and two fumbles.
