The Covered Bridge Jams Concert Series will host “On The Border: The Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band” on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Covered Bridge Park.

“We are expecting a large crowd to come out and enjoy this well-known and amazing group,” said David Nanney, director of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation.

“On The Border” is known for delivering an authentic concert experience, taking fans on a musical journey through the Eagles’ extensive songbook. The band performs every big hit, from ballads like “Desperado” and “Lyin’ Eyes” to rock anthems such as “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Heartache Tonight” with such precision that listeners might mistake them for the real Eagles.

“We encourage everyone to be at Covered Bridge Park on Saturday night and to get there early,” said Nanney. “The show will start at 5 p.m. with the opening act. We will also have food trucks on hand throughout the evening. The stage will be set up in the street, with the Monument in the background. Bring your lawn chair, bring a friend or the whole family, and enjoy a phenomenal night of rock and roll.”
