The 41st Smith-White-Price Family Reunion will be held from noon until 4 p.m. at the Hampton Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 810 Deerfield Lane, Hampton, behind Hampton High School. Bring your favorite covered dish and a dessert for a meal to be served at 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a gift for bingo, door prizes and horseshoe. Trophies will be given. A Gardening Seminar will be held at Sycamore Shoals State Park in Elizabethton from 9 a.m. until noon. The seminar, free to the public, will be held in the community room at the park. The subjects of the seminar will be Review of summer gardens – What went right and what went wrong; Plant a fall garden – any kind of vegetable is better than weeds; and Pruning of blackberries, blueberries, fruit trees and renovation of strawberries. The seminar will be presented by Master Gardeners Ben Hunter and Cameron Coates. The event is sponsored by the Northeast Tennessee Master Gardeners and Sycamore Shoals State Park.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
