Frances Holland, 88, Roan Mountain, passed to her Heavenly Home on July 30, 2024, with her three girls holding her. She was one of eight children born to Frank and Pearl Blevins of Tiger Creek.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Gay Nell (David) Tolley; granddaughter, Emillie Davis and Kyle; great-granddaughter, Olivia Whitehead and Raymond; great-grandsons, Sam Gibbs and Harley, Jamie Tolley and Mary, David Allen Tolley and Kelly, Jeff Tolley and Becky and Jamie Glover; her special neighbor, John L. McKinney; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Pauline Brown, Roan Mountain, and Arlene Guinn, Roan Mountain.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 2, in the Blevins Cemetery, Blevins Hollow, Tiger Creek, with Pastor Randy English officiating. Pallbearers will be family.
