Dylan Wayne Williams, 15, of Johnson City, Tenn., passed unexpectedly from this life Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born in Kingsport, Tenn., on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, to the late Lance Williams and Candace McLain.
Dylan was a member of King Springs Baptist Church. He was a student at Happy Valley High School. He loved fishing with his Dad, PaPaw, and his brother Dakota. He enjoyed playing video games, spending time with his brother, and enjoyed family trips to the beach. He loved to joke and play, and when he did his smile lit up whatever room he was in.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lance Williams.
Dylan is survived by his mother, Candace McLain (Owen) of Telford, Tenn.; his brother, Dakota Necessary (Maddie) of Johnson City, Tenn.; grandparents, Dennis and Bobbie Sue Williams of Johnson City, Tenn., and grandparents, Robert Nidiffer and Rebecca Nidiffer of Bristol, Tenn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Luka Temaj and Pastor Brent Nidiffer officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Dakota Necessary, Coy Nidiffer, Shaine Nidiffer, Cody Nidiffer, Robert Nidiffer, Tommy Williams, Owen McLain and Jeffery Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Aadyn Williams and Hunter Nidiffer. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.
