This Saturday’s Covered Bridge Jams Concert will feature Dan Herrell and The Troubadours. “We hope folks will come out and enjoy this exciting group,” stated Director of Parks and Recreation David Nanney.

Herrell played in theaters at Dollywood for seven years and was on tour as the opening act for Sawyer Brown for three years. The band’s bass player, Tommy Starnes, played for many years with The Benny Wilson Band. He also played bass for the Statler Brothers.

Elizabethton Parks and Recreation is proud to bring you this free concert series. “Come on down to Covered Bridge Park Saturday at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chair, your family, and sit back and enjoy a wonderful free concert while relaxing by the Doe River,” said Nanney. Food trucks will be on hand.
