The Carter County Democratic Women’s Club will meet June 25 at 6 p.m. at the Mayflower Restaurant in the Betsytowne Shopping Center.

The guest speaker is Catherine Murray, who has been a member of the Cherokee Forest Voices since 1992 and has been executive director since 1999. Cherokee Forest Voices is a coalition of individuals and member organizations such as the TN Chapter of The Sierra Club, The Wilderness Society, Tennessee Audubon Council, Smoky Mountains Hiking Club, and Tennessee Citizens for Wilderness Planning.
