The Lauren Cole Band will be featured at this Saturday’s Covered Bridge Jams, beginning at 7 p.m. Music will continue until 9 p.m.

The Lauren Cole Band is a blues-driven rock band from Johnson City. Members have been playing together for over 10 years. They have appeared regularly at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge and more recently the Bristol Casino. They’ve played extensively in Asheville, N.C., and many of the breweries and pubs in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia and performed at the Jersey Shore Festival a few years ago.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the free concert in the park, sponsored by the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department.

Food trucks will be available for food and snacks for purchase.
