JOHNSON CITY – Jeffrey Metcalf, 30, of Johnson City, was arrested and charged with burglary on Saturday by officers of the Johnson City Police Department.

At 11:15 a.m., officers responded to a burglary call on Sunset Court. The victim reported that he arrived at the property and saw the doors to his shipping container and shed open and someone going through his items. The victim told police some of his belongings were missing.

Officers made contact with Metcalf nearby and subsequently found the victim’s stolen items.

Metcalf was transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
