Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Get ready to “Shake It Off” and celebrate the incredible eras of Taylor Swift! The City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Elizabethton Carter County Public Library and the Carter County Drug Prevention Coalition, is thrilled to announce the Taylor Swift ERA’s Party in the Park. This free event will take place at Kiwanis Park on Friday, June 21, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Dance to Taylor’s biggest hits, test your knowledge with Taylor Swift Trivia with Budds, sponsored by the Elizabethton Chamber, and show off your style in the Eras Best Dressed competition. The night will also feature karaoke, friendship bracelet making, photo ops, and Magic Mirror Skin Art offering face paint, festival glitter, and more fun! The Elizabethton Chamber has purchased one free pre-determined face stamp per child for those unable to purchase face paint, ensuring everyone can join in the magical festivities. This can be redeemed by visiting the Magic Mirror’s tent.

Additionally, a free hot dog cookout will begin at 6 p.m. while supplies last, and thanks to the generosity of the Elizabethton Women’s Civic Club, there will be free inflatables for kids to enjoy all evening long.
