JOHNSON CITY – Johnson City Public Works will require lane closures for construction to extend the right turn lane on Peoples Street from the First Horizon Bank entrance (3230 Peoples St.) to Knob Creek Road beginning Monday, June 17. The lane closures will impact traffic between 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The estimated completion will take approximately four weeks, weather dependent.

Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
