Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G Street, for the week of Monday, May 20 – Friday, May 24:

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 noon.

The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments are necessary.

Monday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Chicken Fried Steak, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Walk with Ease – 6-Week Arthritis Workshop, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Chili Mac Casserole, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing – Instructor Sharon Pilk, 12 p.m., $3; Families Raising Families: Location: Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton, 6 p.m.

Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Basic Drug Awareness Presentation: Provided by First Judicial Drug Task Force, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Oriental Chicken & Rice, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Thursday: Walk with Ease – 6-Week Arthritis Workshop, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Tuna Salad, 11 a.m.; Qigong with Adina, 12 p.m.

Friday: Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser – All proceeds benefit the Elizabethton Senior Center, 8-10 a.m. Door prizes and live music featuring: Some Old Friends. Tickets are $10.

REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5. These are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council.
