Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G Street, for the week of Monday, April 15 – Friday, April 19:

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 noon.

The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments are necessary.

Monday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Chicken Fried Steak, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Take Charge of Your Diabetes – UT Extension, 9:30 a.m.; Lunch – Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing – Instructor Sharon Pilk, 12 p.m., $3; Families Raising Families – Location: Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County – For grandparents and relatives raising children, 6-7 p.m.

Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9-10 a.m.; Craft: Paint a Wooden Birdhouse, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Grilled Chicken Breast, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Thursday: Lunch – Soup Beans, 11 a.m.; Qigong with Adina, 12 p.m.

Friday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9-10 a.m.; Let’s Play Bingo, sponsored by Visiting Angels, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Shepherd’s Pie, 11 a.m.

REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5. These are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council.
