Citizens Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Whaley to Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. With her extensive experience and expertise, Whaley assumes a key leadership role within the organization.

Whaley, a graduate of King University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics, specialized in Accounting. She furthered her education at East Tennessee State University, earning a Master of Accountancy degree. With a background in public accounting and holding a CPA license, Whaley joined Citizens Bank in June 2017 as Vice President, Risk Management & Senior Accounting Officer.

In addition to her professional achievements, Whaley is an active member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, serving on the Financial Institutions Conference Planning Committee. She resides in Elizabethton with her husband David and their two children, and is involved in community service as a children’s ministry leader at Hunter First Baptist Church where she has also served on the Finance Committee for several years.
