On March 20, Johnson City Police Department officers apprehended Gwendolyn Crowe, a 26-year-old resident of Elizabethton. Crowe faces charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and felony child endangerment stemming from DUI.
The arrest unfolded following officers’ response to reports of an intoxicated driver in the vicinity of 1905 N. Roan St. Upon arrival, officers interviewed multiple witnesses who identified Crowe as the driver of the vehicle, which had a juvenile passenger onboard. Subsequent investigations revealed that Crowe had been operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Crowe was taken into custody at the scene and subsequently transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
