The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:

• On March 18, Officer Samuel Woodby responded to a report of a suspicious male at Ingles on West Elk Avenue. Edward Wayne Guinn, exhibiting signs of intoxication, was unable to perform sobriety tests. Guinn, charged with public intoxication, was transported to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
• On March 16, Officer Matthew Goldberg conducted a traffic stop on West Elk Avenue and discovered Victor Sanders driving with a suspended license. Makala Gorman, the passenger, had a revoked license for DUI. Sanders was cited for driving with a suspended license, while Gorman’s license was seized.
• On March 16, Officer Matthew Goldberg observed Adrian A. Garcia driving recklessly on West Elk Avenue. Garcia, who lacked a valid driver’s license, was cited for reckless driving, driving without a license, and failure to provide proof of insurance.
• On March 16, Officer Rocky Croy stopped Elex Moffitt for driving at an excessive speed of 92 mph on Broad Street. Moffitt received a criminal summons for speeding and reckless driving and was scheduled for a court appearance.
• On March 15, Sgt. Curtis Bullock arrested Cody Shane Presnell for criminal trespassing at Ian’s Market #65 on Broad Street. Presnell, previously trespassed, was issued a citation and instructed to appear in court.
• On March 14, Officer Ryan Manuel stopped Danielle Nashay Hurt for speeding on Milligan Highway. Hurt, driving with a revoked license due to a DUI, was issued a criminal summons for driving while revoked.
• On March 14, Officers Matt Scott and Eric Norman arrested Tilford Denton Oliver at TDOC Probation and Parole for a violation of probation warrant.
• On March 13, Officer Spencer Ward arrested Michael Joe Woodby for public intoxication on Siam Road. Woodby, found intoxicated, was transported to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
