Johnson City Police arrest Miller on drug charges

On March 15, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Casey Miller, 40, of Johnson City, and charged him with unlawful drug paraphernalia, simple possession of Schedule III, simple possession of methamphetamine, and introduction of contraband into a penal facility.
Around 11:30 p.m. on the aforementioned date, officers responded to the area of North Roan and Buffalo Streets in reference to a disturbance. Officers discovered one of the individuals involved, Casey Miller, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was subsequently found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
After being transported to Washington County Detention Center, detention officers also found substances believed to be methamphetamine and Suboxone hidden in Miller’s pants.
