Friends of the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter will have their Third Annual Happy Tails Run-Walk Sunday in downtown Elizabethton.

The 5K Run and 1K Walk will be held in the Covered Bridge Park.

All funds raised go towards building a very much needed low cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in Elizabethton.

Events will begin at 2 p.m. There is a registration fee to participate.
