Clara Lee Ingram, 70, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William Virl and Etta Mae Estep Ingram.
Clara was a graduate of Unaka High School and a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation. She was a member of the Order of the Confederate Rose. She was of the Baptist Faith. Clara loved horses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wayne Bailey.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffery Craft; two sons, Stuart Ingran and wife Bobbie and Sam Bailey; three grandchildren, Logan Ingram and wife Tabitha, Aiden Ingram and Mason Bailey; two sisters, Susan Graves and Donna Greer; three brothers, Billy Ingram, Estill Ingram and wife Kim, and Jerry Ingram; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. John Peters officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews. Rita Newton will read the Confederate Rose Prayer. It was her request to be cremated following the funeral service.
